Honour a loved one’s final wishes

Funeral Services

For over 30 years, Ed has provided a poignant and respectful tribute for loved ones with traditional Scottish and Irish bagpipes.

He can perform in full highland regimental dress, formal Scottish day dress or Irish attire. His services typically include:

  • Piping as the hearse arrives at the home address and leading the cortege for a short distance.
  • Leading the cortege from the entrance of the crematorium to the chapel or piping as the hearse arrives at the church.
  • Piping the casket into the crematorium or church.
  • Playing a reflective piece of music during the service.
  • Piping after the commital and as guests leave the church or crematorium.
  • Piping at the graveside, playing as the coffin is lowered or performing a few tunes to close the ceremony, walking away into the distance.
  • Piping as guests arrive at the wake.

Ash Scaterring Ceremony

Ed also provides bagpiping for ash scattering ceremonies, adding an emotional atmosphere to this special moment of remembrance.
